2018 Yamaha Raptor 700r Price
2018 Yamaha Raptor 700r Price Have you ever heard the phrase, “Legends never Die”? This has been the four mantra of Yamaha’s sports for years. Back in the 1990 ‘s they didn’t let the Blaster, the Banshee or the warrior fall in the depths of hopelessness like Honda, Suzuki and Kawasaki did with their sporting quartet. Tough time for the sports four. Although the large sales numbers were not there, Yamaha continued to build them for the masses.
This is still a situation. Single flat axle with Yamaha, Raptor 700 and YFZ450R, 2WD performance Quad is being built. A lot has changed over the last few years design-some bad looking color schemes as well as smart, but there is another phrase that comes to mind: “If you are not Broke, do not repair! “
SOHC, 686cc, YCU (Yamaha fuel injection), 44mm gas body injected, large hole motor, crank ‘ a approximately 45 horsepower produces. But, torque is a more important factor in horsepower. Light forged piston, connection bar and crankshaft are light and strong. With its 10.0:1 compression ratio, this combination creates a strong lower end hit, quickly rev up to 9000 rpm, and keep the double counterbalancers smooth.
Race-grown, five-speed transmission, involving a reversal, a dream to ride. The shemale is bulletproof, and the engine torque helps in pulling the Quad with any sticky situation. You can start any gear Raptor 700 by pulling the clutch, which is an attractive option if you kill a reliable electric Starter, less-desirable spot engine. The Raptor 700 service is made with a tool that will easily take time before the next ride-free air filter and easy-to-reach oil filter.
The chassis, body & Suspension 2018 model has a true hybrid steel and aluminum frame and aluminum subframe that provide the perfect balance of power and Flex to help in rough sections of the road. It is also only 22 kilos, its younger, heavier, more hyper brother, YFZ450R.

Yamaha also received clues from the YFZ when creating the suspension. It offers 9.1 inches of front and 10.1 inch rear wheel travel. Combine this with high/low speed compression, rebound and pre-load adjustable front and rear shocks and provides a fully adjustable ride. There is a plastic chassis Skid Plate with 9.5 inches and a wide ground clearance to keep the engine protected bottom. The Raptor is 46 inches wide, making it possible to rip tight, wooded areas with easy. The 700r has a high gravity and short wheelbase center, but it also has a comfortable seat and ergonomic cockpit. While the plastic and gas tank is comfortable for knee grip, the sliding position works aggressively for riding or slowly riding the road.
2018, they added stylish graphics and new plastic colors. The most cost-friendly version is the basic model Raptor 700 ($7999). The basic model loses the symbol “R “, but the only change is the shocks and looks. The basic model offers a graphite appearance (black and gray), and shocks only offer a preload setting, such as shocks from a banshee. But it does not lose any wheel travel compared to R models.
The Raptor 700r team comes with Yamaha blue/white, fully adjustable shocks and, with these upgrades, for $8499 retail. The Raptor 700r SE $9099 is the most expensive model and has all the great features of the R-model and then some. It comes with a bright metallic red, white and black color scheme that will be green with friends jealousy. The wheels also get some stickers that match the color scheme and tie into very good design.
Command Performance Our 2018 Yamaha Raptor 700r team had the chance to test Yamaha’s blue and white model. All of the Test riders acknowledged that it was one of the best color schemes that Yamaha has seen from the Stables. There is a very clean and clear look, but their rubber boots are vicious styling to frighten any opponent.
Raptor is an amazing track machine, straight and simple. Unlike a 450 model where and gears would be shifting all day long on tight roads, 700r easily lugged around most gears and with shorter wheelbase, more rails with more elegance and style than treacherous roads. For another reason we have a reverse gear to give the gear an A + is for the pure truth. When you need to flip around a trail with a cliff on both sides, it’s nice that you didn’t have to get rid of this machine and lift. We have found ourselves using second and third gears in most cases.
But, don’t get skewed, the Raptor 700r large bore allows you to quickly fly through the gears with a powerful burst of powerband. Although we didn’t get to test this monster at the Dunes for the first Test, one of our favorite machines is to tear through the soft terrain. The fuel injection made the transition to high elevations without an easy hiccups. Regardless of the gear, a blade of gas wakes the monster and is invigorating and addicting with a strong feeling.
Short wheelbase and large torque, the Raptor makes it easy to pull up to the front end, and sometimes happens if you’re not trying to do it. Having this kind of low-end grunt made it easier to ride through rough sections like whoops and rain ruts, leaving less tired than a 450cc sports Quad riding. However, in the same sense, we wish that the Raptor 700r was a little longer for those bad scream episodes. That would be more comfortable than a 450cc sports Quad like the Yamaha YFZ450R.

Raptor, we’ve noticed that the stock raptor is a bit of a dead sensation in the suspension. After speeding up the pre-shock rebound with two clicks, it woke up his sleeping legs and made a safer machine in the water rods and rock sections. Being able to have a higher gravity center through this Raptor’s tall engine, we felt more relaxed in the corners by applying more body language and misleading indoor-camber sections. The speed was compressed through the winding pathways with the Raptor refined, but at low speed, it was a bit cumbersome and took more to turn the clutch actuation, throttle and skill 180 degrees.
The stock Maxxis 22-inch front and 20-inch rear tyres have helped traction in earning big holes and offer less rolling resistance on large obstacles. 700R has plenty of ground clearance which is most cleansed of the important rocks we encountered. The twin piston hydraulic brakes work extremely well to tame the speed. We pointed out the great Raptor and was impressed with the braking as we set for the corner speed of fire everywhere we wanted to go with exploverveness.
Raptor is another Trail worthy quality engine braking activity. The large crank and engine compression helps to slow down when we let the gas off, which meant less braking in the engines and tight corners. When you’re too close to idle, it doesn’t die easily. Most of the time we can have very little gas in the first or second gear and we only enjoy the awesome scenery together, all while putt. The seat is Ultra comfortable and presented a lot of grip on our riding pants.
The 422 pound Raptor loves to fly on horses, with a wet weight of 700r. The suspension handles the landing of the desert Quad, with a multipliness and precision, which had the scope of the different jumps out to test us a large hole.

We always applaud Yamaha to continue producing Quad models in only two production sports in the shrinking market. It seems sad, but with the changing of the Yamaha Times earlier this has passed and always appeared before the competition.
Raptor 700 Sports Quad Jungle King remains when it comes to reliability and engine domination. It’s constantly curious that our top-five-favorite sports remain on the Quad list. Power is undeniable, processing is equivalent to 450 and the fun factor is different.
