The Honda engine is not what you would call new. Not even nearby. In fact, the 86cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, four-stroke has been around for a long time. That’s actually a good thing though. Not fuel injected, the Honda is, say, cold-blooded. If the engine is cold, be ready to sit there for a bit to warm it up before you try to ride. As soon as it runs, but it doesn’t stop.
Polaris runs a slightly larger engine in the outlaw, with a 112cc engine making her child around the yard. The Polaris runs on electronic fuel injection, so starting is a breeze. This is a reliable engine as well and is loads of fun for your younger drivers. Since it’s a bit more pep, the Polaris Outlaw 110 may need a little more engine than you can start driving right at the lower age limit. Don’t worry, though, there are speed controllers in place.

This is a significant difference between these two machines. The Honda has a four-speed manual gearbox with an automatic clutch. Your child must move manually with the left-hand slider. This really helps to control things with the beginners, since they can simply stay in lower gears until the trust builds up. However, there is no reverse gear.
The Outlaw has Polaris ‘ CVT band system and has forward and reverse gear. Trading with an automatic transfer is that your child can get into a hairy situation with the gas, but there is also the advantage of reverse gear.
