2021 Polaris Scrambler XP, Many people like offroad with all-terrain vehicles, or ATVs. The four wheels are popular on roads and dunes.
ATV use also increases during hunting season as people travel to their favorite locations away from sidewalks. Sales have also increased during the pandemic as people scramble for outdoor activities.
Polaris makes several different models to meet the needs of different offroading enthusiasts. The Polaris Scrambler XP 1000 is a premium offering from the manufacturer built to handle as much as possible in one package. And, Scrambler does well.
2021 Polaris Scrambler XP 1000
When one walks into the Scrambler XP 1000 S, one of the first things they notice is the size of the four-wheeler. This ATV is large. It is 55 inches wide and about 91 inches long.
So, this is longer than the Chevrolet Silverado bed but will fit inside the side of the bed. This means traveling with the back door down after the ride has been installed. But, the straps, of course, will be pushed.

Polaris Scrambler XP 1000 S Top Speed
2021 Polaris Scrambler XP 1000 S Top Speed The 2020 Scrambler XP 1000 S 2020 long journey and wide track creates a new segment in ATV, bringing with it much-needed excitement to the world of ATV. It’s sure to be the dominant 4×4 ATV power in the desert and dunes, and we envision it as a dream machine for those looking to hit many of today’s wider and rougher SXS trails.
The Scrambler is powered by a 952cc, parallel twin-cylinder Polaris Pro Star fuel injection engine with four valves and a single overhead cam per cylinder used in the earlier Scrambler and Sportsman 1000 models.
No more side-mounted dual silencers and replaced with new exhausts with center-mounted silencers. It shaves off weight and concentrates mass, but costs the Scrambler 1 horsepower. With its electronic throttle, the Scrambler now has two throttle modes, Standard and Performance.
Both offer full power with standard mode smoothing delivery at lower throttle settings for improved manageability at lower speeds. The internal drive chain and transmission sprocket have been widened for added strength. To help ensure front-drive durability, Polaris removed the front-drive from their RZR S 1000 for use in the Scrambler.
2021 Polaris Scrambler XP 1000s Top Speed For those looking to add bigger tires, the Scrambler S can accommodate bigger, more aggressive tires without the need to add a lift kit to the ATV. This prevents the addition of additional corners to the axle and CV joints, which reduces durability.
2021 Polaris Scrambler XP: ATV Suspension
The Polaris Scrambler suspension is quite impressive. It has a ground clearance of 14 inches. So there’s plenty of room for absorption, or flexibility, during speed trail riding, or dune jumping.
However, the suspension has a remote reservoir and can also be adjusted according to pilot preferences. The delay of a long trip means sliding through uneven trail surfaces and jumping over dunes is not a brutal affair on your return to Earth.
2021 Polaris Scrambler XP: What this ATV lacks
Horseback riding and rock crawling are often done on an ATV. For that type of adventure, people would often inhale the tires to make sure the sidewalls were not punctured by sharp edges. Instead, they will flex.
However, the tires sometimes come off while doing it. That’s why people often install Beadlock flywheel arrangements on their ATVs or trucks. Depending on the intended use of the Polaris Scrambler, Beadlock may be a good consideration.
That doesn’t mean that the tires that come with it aren’t capable of a good driving experience at speed. 27-inch tires for sure.
The Scrambler XP 1000 has a lot of power for its size. Break the thumb-controlled throttle, and 89 horses come to life from the 952 cc engine. It’s almost like a hyper-performance rig. And that power is, of course, handled via an all-wheel-drive system.
2021 Polaris Scrambler XP: How Fast Is Polaris Scrambler 1000
The Polaris Scrambler XP 1000 top speed is more than 100 mph (161 km / h), but the Tuning menu fails to calculate the car’s braking distance from 100 mph (161 km / h) unless the player upgrades the car further.
